How to Fish Leeches Guide
The leech quest, un-confused: what everyone gets wrong and where the leeches actually come from.
Quick answer
Find 3 leeches on the ground on Forest (island 2). They are ground pickups, not rod catches. Hand all 3 to the quest NPC to receive Modified Leech for Giant Piranha.
What the community verified
- Leeches are ground pickups on Forest (island 2), not rod catches.
- The progression quest requires 3 leeches; hand all 3 to the Forest quest NPC.
- The exact spawn location is still being pinned down per-build; anything published before verification would mislead you.
What the quest leads to
Completing the leech step keeps the questline moving toward the next island gate. Keep the progression page open alongside.
